It is ironic, because St Thomas has been invoked by Francis' minions in the matter of the heresy of Amoris Laetitia,
The musings and meandering thoughts of a crotchety old man as he observes life in the world and in a small, rural town in South East Nebraska. My Pledge-Nulla dies sine linea-Not a day with out a line.

A Quote From the Angelic Doctor
I am reading Jacques Maritain's 'St Thomas Aquinas'. With all the doubt being sown in the Church by Francis, both in his 'interviews' with Scalfari, and his off-the-cuff 'magisterial statements' on airplanes, this quote just leapt off the page at me, so I decided to 'meme' and share it. It is from the Angelic Doctor's Sermon De vetula.

Comments are subject to deletion if they are not germane. I have no problem with a bit of colourful language, but blasphemy or depraved profanity will not be allowed. Attacks on the Catholic Faith will not be tolerated. Comments will be deleted that are republican (Yanks! Note the lower case 'r'!), attacks on the legitimacy of Pope Francis as the Vicar of Christ (I know he's a material heretic and a Protector of Perverts, and I definitely want him gone yesterday! However, he is Pope, and I pray for him every day.), the legitimacy of the House of Windsor or of the claims of the Elder Line of the House of France, or attacks on the legitimacy of any of the currently ruling Houses of Europe.
