When did meteorologists starting using the word 'bomb'? Two headlines, today, from the weather website, Accuweather, 'Satellite captures 'bomb cyclone' moving up eastern seaboard', and 'Reports: Snowstorm undergoes bombogenesis as it pounds DC to New York City, Boston'. What does this even mean?!
Isn't the weather nasty and dangerous enough already. Why do they want to anthropomorphise it and grant it the power to 'bomb' us?
