Supper Last Night

Of course, tonight being Monday, I went to the community supper. The announced menu was 'Czech Days leftovers', e.g. duck, dumplings, sauerkraut, pork, rye bread, etc. In other words, some of my favourite foods.

No such luck. The Lutheran Church must have done a bang up business in traditional Czech meals over the weekend, because what we got was hotdogs, relish vegetables, and individual serving bags of poyato chips. Oh, there were kolaches, tho'.

So, since I have no pictures of a traditional Bohemian meal, here is a picture of last night's supper in our house. The Cuter & Shorter Half made refried beans, tacos, and enchiladas. The salsa on the tacos and enchiladas is made from vegetables from our garden. It was delicious!

Attacks on the Catholic Faith will not be tolerated. Comments will be deleted that are republican (Yanks! Note the lower case 'r'!), attacks on the legitimacy of Pope Francis as the Vicar of Christ (I know he's a material heretic and a Protector of Perverts, and I definitely want him gone yesterday! However, he is Pope, and I pray for him every day.), the legitimacy of the House of Windsor or of the claims of the Elder Line of the House of France, or attacks on the legitimacy of any of the currently ruling Houses of Europe.
