Is the Social Security Administration Preparing For More 'Gender Fluidity'?

A curious little thing. I received my new Medicare Health Insurance Card in the mail today. The Social Security Administration is issuing new cards with unique identifying numbers in order to remove the individual's SSN from the card. Of course, this is a move that was made years ago by most States with their DL/ID format, but better late than never, I suppose.

It looks pretty much like the old one. It is now bilingual in English and Spanish. The holder is no longer identified as the 'beneficiary'. The number is changed, of course. But, what I find fascinating is that the holder's sex is no longer identified.

Is the SSA expecting a flood of 'trans' seniors and doesn't want to issue new cards post-op? Enquiring minds want to know!

Attacks on the Catholic Faith will not be tolerated. Comments will be deleted that are republican (Yanks! Note the lower case 'r'!), attacks on the legitimacy of Pope Francis as the Vicar of Christ (I know he's a material heretic and a Protector of Perverts, and I definitely want him gone yesterday! However, he is Pope, and I pray for him every day.), the legitimacy of the House of Windsor or of the claims of the Elder Line of the House of France, or attacks on the legitimacy of any of the currently ruling Houses of Europe.
