Catholic Funeral for Public Abortion Advocate Heretic: More “Shocking” News

Thanks to ChurchMilitant.tv and the Restore-DCCatholicism blog, we learn of another Church funeral of a public heretic, this time in the co-cathedral of the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston in Texas, under the control of Daniel Cardinal DiNardo. Of course, this kind of grave hierarchical abuse of Real Catholics is a regular occurrence in the Church these days, not only in America but everywhere.

Daniel Cardinal DiNardo Publicly Advocating and Supporting Abortion While Being “Personally Opposed” Or Just A Cowardly Cardinal?

Not too long ago, we witnessed the same disgusting spectacle for former New York Governor Cuomo, which I wrote about here.  Cardinal Dolan did nothing to stop that scandal, said nothing about this situation at all, and permitted the scandalization of millions of Catholics, and allowed a mockery of the Church and the Faith.

Once again, the funeral in Galveston-Houston Co-Cathedral was held for a person who not only publicly lauded and supported abortion, but was the esteemed Gulf Coast Planned Parenthood coordinator.  That means she was the public voice and advocate for Planned Parenthood and their murderous business, directly opposed to the Catholic Church.  By her dedicated work, she was obstinate in her rejection of a dogma of the Faith, and thus a formal heretic by definition.  As his fellow cardinal Dolan, Cardinal DiNardo allowed this public scandal to occur in his co-cathedral.  No excuse permits this disgusting and grave abuse by the cardinal, and those directly involved including the rector of the co-cathedral ought to be removed and sent to a monastery to do penance for a long time.

Cardinal O’Malley allowed this same public scandal in his archdiocese of Boston when he presided over the Catholic funeral Mass for public heretic Ted Kennedy, the American senator who did everything he could to further abortion and the availability of contraceptives across the country for decades.  O’Malley all but declared him a saint just to the right of Jesus. That was in 2009. This year, he had the gall to preside over the Mass celebrated in Washington for the March For Life, where he spoke of the problem of abortion and then tried to mix that grave evil up other issues, basically making the abortion, the murder of children in what should be the safest place for them – – – their mother’s womb, equivalent to lesser issues.  By the way, O’Malley is one of Pope Francis’ advisors he picked to help him to reform the Vatican and govern the Church.

This is nothing new, and we aren’t supposed to say anything about the scandalous actions of these princes of the Church. That time of silent deference to abominations by leaders of the Church has ended.

Watch the link at Restore-DCCatholicism above and read the updates which noted that the Archdiocesan website was down. I pulled up the website but I wonder for how long as this news spreads.  I wonder if the phones are down or all busy. Perhaps I’ll try.

All real Catholics should send a kind note to him as well as the Pope.  If you write the pope, make sure you tell him how unwelcome you’re made to feel by this action of Cardinal DiNardo and how much it hurts your feelings.  Maybe Francis will then be prompted to pick up the phone and give you a buzz, and maybe even fly you to Rome for a private audience that will be splashed all over the newspapers.  Oh, wait.  Sorry.  You would have to be an adultress, or transsexual or some other favored whatever of the modernist sensibilities for that to happen.  You could always lie in your letter.  That’s not a sin anymore, like everything else isn’t either apparently.

With Cardinals like these and Marx and Kasper, do we wonder how we get a Francis?
