The musings and meandering thoughts of a crotchety old man as he observes life in the world and in a small, rural town in South East Nebraska. My Pledge-Nulla dies sine linea-Not a day with out a line.
He points out that the two are like a pair of shoemakers in a village, vigourously competing for the custom of the villagers, and that the true conservative, who currently must be a reactionary to restore order and sanity to society, is the fellow who suddenly says that everybody should go barefoot, thus becoming the enemy of both revolutionary parties.
This video is from 'Praeger U', narrated by Dinesh D'Souza. Both 'Praeger U', which is simply a YouTube channel, not in any way a 'U', and D'Souza are neo-conservatives with whom I seldom agree, but this video is one I do agree with. It points out that the 'Philosopher of Fascism' was Giovanni Gentile, of whom Benedetto Croce wrote, he '... holds the honor of having been the most rigorous neo-Hegelian in the entire history of Western philosophy and the dishonor of having been the official philosopher of Fascism in Italy.'

Comments are subject to deletion if they are not germane. I have no problem with a bit of colourful language, but blasphemy or depraved profanity will not be allowed. Attacks on the Catholic Faith will not be tolerated. Comments will be deleted that are republican (Yanks! Note the lower case 'r'!), attacks on the legitimacy of Pope Francis as the Vicar of Christ (I know he's a material heretic and a Protector of Perverts, and I definitely want him gone yesterday! However, he is Pope, and I pray for him every day.), the legitimacy of the House of Windsor or of the claims of the Elder Line of the House of France, or attacks on the legitimacy of any of the currently ruling Houses of Europe.
