Reconquista of Spain: The Incredible First Victory

A short video on the Battle of Covadonga, where Don Pelayo and his Christian army defeated the jihad, beginning the Reconquista. The war begun with this battle in AD 722, would continue for 770 years, culminating in the final victory of the Catholic forces on 2 January 1492, when the jihadist Kingdom of Granada capitulated to Their Most Catholic Majesties Ferdinand and Isabella.
