Maximus Barker, Con Artist
This morning was a bit different. When I came out of my room the C&SH had just awakened and was getting dressed. Maximus was 'dancing', obviously needing to go outside now! Since I was still in my night clothes, I put the coffee on whilst she took him outside.
When she brought him inside I was still in my night clothes, sitting at my computer. Almost immediately Max started nudging me. I looked at him and told him not to try to con me, I knew he'd just been outside! His grasp of human language seemed deficient at this point, since he kept badgering me. Finally, I surrendered, got dressed, and took him outside. He knew the routine! I take him out after the Lady does. He doesn't care if it's two hours or five minutes, there's a routine that must be observed.
To make matters worse, we got about five inches of snow last night, and he loves to play in the white stuff. So, about an hour after my taking him out, he started the 'encouragement' again. Since I needed to sweep the snow off the car for the C&SH's drive to work, I gave in and took him out a second time.
This does not bode well for this afternoon!

Comments are subject to deletion if they are not germane. I have no problem with a bit of colourful language, but blasphemy or depraved profanity will not be allowed. Attacks on the Catholic Faith will not be tolerated. Comments will be deleted that are republican (Yanks! Note the lower case 'r'!), attacks on the legitimacy of Pope Francis as the Vicar of Christ (I know he's a material heretic and a Protector of Perverts, and I definitely want him gone yesterday! However, he is Pope, and I pray for him every day.), the legitimacy of the House of Windsor or of the claims of the Elder Line of the House of France, or attacks on the legitimacy of any of the currently ruling Houses of Europe.
I hope Max is pulling pup shenanigans and is not having an issue. I'd take a gander at his water intake. When pups change the usual, there is sometimes a reason.
ReplyDeleteWe are having an active winter weather pattern, are we not?
Oh, no. He didn't 'need' to go out the second time. It's just that he's a creature of habit and I was trying to disrupt the routine! LOL! Once he came back in after I took him out, he promptly went back to sleep on the bed.
