Truth has no meaning for leftists! Any lie to create division is acceptable!
By Donald R. McClarey, JD
Egyptologists should be made of sterner tough. This book, The Good Kings: Absolute Power in Ancient Egypt and the Modern World, is no obscure academic tome, but rather a mass market book published last November by National Geographic and on the shelves at Barnes and Noble and other main stream book stores. The author has hosted shows about Egyptology on The Discovery Channel. She is an ardent feminist and committed Leftist and this waste of printed paper was an attempt to mix a banal misreading of Egyptian history with an attempt to bash Trump and his supporters. I took a look at the book just last week and put it down with disgust when I realized what it was. She and her publisher have made a statement of fact that is untrue, and that would have been found to be untrue with a few seconds of google search. This can be construed as actual malice, which in this case would be reckless indifference to the fact that what was stated was untrue. That opens the door to punitive damages, and leaps over the fact that Rittenhouse might be considered a public figure. Should have stuck to libeling pharaohs you don’t like Prof. Ancient Egyptians don’t sue, contemporary Americans do.

Comments are subject to deletion if they are not germane. I have no problem with a bit of colourful language, but blasphemy or depraved profanity will not be allowed. Attacks on the Catholic Faith will not be tolerated. Comments will be deleted that are republican (Yanks! Note the lower case 'r'!), attacks on the legitimacy of Pope Francis as the Vicar of Christ (I know he's a material heretic and a Protector of Perverts, and I definitely want him gone yesterday! However, he is Pope, and I pray for him every day.), the legitimacy of the House of Windsor or of the claims of the Elder Line of the House of France, or attacks on the legitimacy of any of the currently ruling Houses of Europe.
