Pope Francis Finally “Comments” About the Abortion Ruling

Remember, Francis is the man who called an out-and-proud abortionist, Emma Bonino, 'one of Italy's forgotten greats'.

From One Peter Five

By Timothy Flanders

The Roman Pontiff has finally “commented” on the landmark Dobbs case against the unborn holocaust in the American Empire (and indirectly, the world).

Asked about the U.S. Supreme Court’s ruling overturning the landmark Roe v. Wade ruling establishing a woman’s right to have an abortion, Francis said he respected the decision but did not have enough information to speak about it from a juridical point of view.

But he strongly condemned abortion, comparing it to ‘hiring a hit man’. The Catholic Church teaches that life begins at the moment of conception.

‘I ask: Is it legitimate, is it right, to eliminate a human life to resolve a problem?’

Compare this to the Pontifical Academy for Life which, despite being lackluster, had enough information to say this:

The fact that a large country with a long democratic tradition has changed its position on this issue also challenges the whole world… Archbishop Paglia said: ‘in the face of Western society that is losing its passion for life, this act is a powerful invitation to reflect together on the serious and urgent issue of human generativity and the conditions that make it possible; by choosing life, our responsibility for the future of humanity is at stake.’

Besides this minimalist response, the United States bishops rightly praised the decision, and it is difficult to conceive how the Holy Father would lack the basic information to understand the “juridical” aspect of removing the right to child murder. Could he possibly not understand the significance of this ruling being reported on worldwide?

Sacrilegious Communion to Pro-Child Murder “Catholics”

The report continues:

Francis was asked about a debate in the United States over whether a Catholic politician who is personally opposed to abortion but supports others’ right to choose should be allowed to receive the sacrament of communion.

House of Representatives speaker Nancy Pelosi, for example, has been barred by the conservative archbishop of her home diocese of San Francisco from receiving it there, but is regularly given communion at a parish in Washington, D.C. Last week, she received the sacrament at a papal Mass in the Vatican.

‘When the Church loses its pastoral nature, when a bishop loses his pastoral nature, it causes a political problem,’ the pope said. ‘That’s all I can say.’

Compare this to Archbishop Cordileone, who said this about excommunicating child murder-supporting Nancy Pelosi:

[M]y conscience won’t allow me to refrain from doing this. I cannot [have] peace of conscience without doing so.

The Dictator Pope Continues His Reign

All of this is not surprising, although it is no less heart-wrenching and terrible. Thankfully, His Holiness repeated his adroit comparison of feticide to mafia-style assassinations. But the full transcript of this interview has not been released.

As it stands, this looks like another act of the Peronist Dictator Pope, speaking words to powerful people in the way they want to be heard, on both sides. If Pope Francis is indeed a Peronist, then he cares more about power than ideology, and will say whatever will continue to give him power and influence and make him look good. Pro-abortion “Catholics” sometimes pay lip service to the unborn, but refuse to lift a finger to stop the slaughter.

Will His Holiness not speak up for the powerless, the unborn children? But that would mean excommunicating those politicians who have sold their souls to the devil and support the sacrifice of children to the god of fornication.

One thing is certain, every bishop will face the judgment seat of Christ and will have to give an answer about where they stood for the least of these, the poorest of the poor: the beating hearts of tiny, unborn children.

Then he shall say to them also that shall be on his left hand: Depart from me, you cursed, into everlasting fire which was prepared for the devil and his angels… Amen I say to you, as long as you did it not to one of these least, neither did you do it to me (Mt. xv. 41, 45).

For we must all be manifested before the judgment seat of Christ, that every one may receive the proper things of the body, according as he hath done, whether it be good or evil (II Cor. v. 10).

Even if the pope and most bishops abandon our cause, we will fight to our last breath against the murder of little children, and Christ Himself will vindicate us. The Lord of armies is with us: the God of Jacob is our protector (Ps. xlv. 12).

Comments are subject to deletion if they are not germane. I have no problem with a bit of colourful language, but blasphemy or depraved profanity will not be allowed. Attacks on the Catholic Faith will not be tolerated. Comments will be deleted that are republican (Yanks! Note the lower case 'r'!), attacks on the legitimacy of Pope Francis as the Vicar of Christ (I know he's a material heretic and a Protector of Perverts, and I definitely want him gone yesterday! However, he is Pope, and I pray for him every day.), the legitimacy of the House of Windsor or of the claims of the Elder Line of the House of France, or attacks on the legitimacy of any of the currently ruling Houses of Europe.
