CHURCH in CRISIS: Pope Francis, Vatican Losing Control
Michael Matt reporting from Rome on the (homo)sexual abuse summit, where the Vatican still refuses to admit it's homosexual abuse.

Comments are subject to deletion if they are not germane. I have no problem with a bit of colourful language, but blasphemy or depraved profanity will not be allowed. Attacks on the Catholic Faith will not be tolerated. Comments will be deleted that are republican (Yanks! Note the lower case 'r'!), attacks on the legitimacy of Pope Francis as the Vicar of Christ (I know he's a material heretic and a Protector of Perverts, and I definitely want him gone yesterday! However, he is Pope, and I pray for him every day.), the legitimacy of the House of Windsor or of the claims of the Elder Line of the House of France, or attacks on the legitimacy of any of the currently ruling Houses of Europe.

There are just so many tentacles on this issue.
ReplyDeleteI believe the church official, is on the cusp of moving to formally approve homosexuality. Now Beroglio has already done it informally with his words and actions, but they are clearly bringing this issue front and center in order to NOT denounce it, and thereby send another signal that they are moving in that direction.
Priests "coming out" is a gross manifestation of the narcissism of these people. I would immediately leave any church in which the pastor is so selfish as to do this.
We either take a zero tolerance approach to homosexual priests, or accept with open arms that our priests are going to be raping and sodomizing each other and our boys and teens. You can't have it any other way. I have heard people start to split hairs, to imply if a homosexual priest "is celibate" then that is somehow acceptable.
No it's not.
We need a zero tolerance approach. These men do not hold the Catholic faith. We must.
