Princess Caroline is the firstborn of Prince Rainier III and Princess Grace of Monaco. She was born on January 23, 1957 and with the unexpected death of her mother was thrust into the role of "first lady" of Monaco. Throughout her life, many good times and many tragic times, she has carried on through it all with a regal bearing, displaying the strength of her father and the grace of her mother.
