And I've also set up a private server on Discord for readers of the blog who might want to chat with me and with one another. My youngest son who is both a computer nerd and an absolute privacy fanatic set up a server for our family to use to communicate. As far as I'm concerned, that gives Discord a #AAA privacy rating.
The musings and meandering thoughts of a crotchety old man as he observes life in the world and in a small, rural town in South East Nebraska. My Pledge-Nulla dies sine linea-Not a day with out a line.

A New Way to Follow Musings of an Old Curmudgeon and More!
For those who would like to get free of the rigid control & censorship of Facebook, I've started a group for the blog on MeWe. MeWe's terms of service agreement contains a "Privacy Bill of Rights" in which the company pledges never to engage in data mining of user information or content, or to filter the Home Feed in any way except that chosen by the user. MeWe pledges in its user agreement to never use cookies or spyware to generate content about users, and that it will not track user activity in any way or sell user data to a third party. Users have the right to completely download and delete all their data when closing their account.

Comments are subject to deletion if they are not germane. I have no problem with a bit of colourful language, but blasphemy or depraved profanity will not be allowed. Attacks on the Catholic Faith will not be tolerated. Comments will be deleted that are republican (Yanks! Note the lower case 'r'!), attacks on the legitimacy of Pope Francis as the Vicar of Christ (I know he's a material heretic and a Protector of Perverts, and I definitely want him gone yesterday! However, he is Pope, and I pray for him every day.), the legitimacy of the House of Windsor or of the claims of the Elder Line of the House of France, or attacks on the legitimacy of any of the currently ruling Houses of Europe.
