Word of the Day: Ad Totam Ecclesiam

In tandem with this definition of the false ecumenism of the 'Spirit of Vatican II', I suggest you read this excerpt from the Catechism of St Pius X - The Ninth Article of the Creed The Church (Qq. 1-49).

AD TOTAM ECCLESIAM. Directory published by the Secretariat for Promoting Unity among Christians. Its main purpose is to delineate in specific norms some of the more critical areas of ecumenical effort and communication, summarily identified by the Second Vatican council. Sixty-three norms are given, some through numerous paragraphs, on: 1. establishment of ecumenical commissions in the dioceses; 2. the validity of baptism by ministers of non-Catholic Christian denominations; 3. spiritual ecumenism in the Catholic Church; 4. co-operation with our separated Christian brethren, May 14, 1967 (Pentecost Sunday).

Comments are subject to deletion if they are not germane. I have no problem with a bit of colourful language, but blasphemy or depraved profanity will not be allowed. Attacks on the Catholic Faith will not be tolerated. Comments will be deleted that are republican (Yanks! Note the lower case 'r'!), attacks on the legitimacy of Pope Francis as the Vicar of Christ (I know he's a material heretic and a Protector of Perverts, and I definitely want him gone yesterday! However, he is Pope, and I pray for him every day.), the legitimacy of the House of Windsor or of the claims of the Elder Line of the House of France, or attacks on the legitimacy of any of the currently ruling Houses of Europe.
