So, when someone at a town hall event hosted by Rep Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez said because we only have a few months before a climate emergency, she urged the eating of babies as a necessary step in the fight against climate change.
"We got to start eating babies!’ We don’t have enough time! There is too much CO2.” said the woman.
Ocasio-Cortez's response is telling. She didn't laugh. She didn't respond by saying that this woman was out of her mind or even that one should not ever eat humans. Instead, she simply said, “luckily we have more than a few months.”
What?!
So, it's a matter of time? If the clock ticks a bit more we'll get there?
