The Cri de Cœur of a Brazilian

Taken from a post on the Facebook page Traditional Latin Mass Discussion Forum. (Slightly edited for clarity.)

First of all, I would like to apologize for the poor writing, as I am still learning English and my vocabulary is limited and flawed, but I cannot shut up in the face of such ridiculousness that is the Amazon Synod.

As a Brazilian, i can say WE DON'T NEED A SYNOD TO DISCUSS ABOUT THE AMAZON RAIN FOREST. It made my country look ridiculous to the rest of the world! But talk about the rain forest was an excuse just as you could observe.

In one of the documents on the synod, they asked for the ordination of MARRIED Indians so that they could be priests in their tribes. Excuse me? The church has enough priests to be sent to the Amazon regions. The capital of the state of Amazonas (called Manaus) is one of the largest cities we have in Brazil. It's as big as Sao Paulo, for example. Are there not enough priests to be sent to the smaller cities, or even the indigenous tribes that opened up to Christianity?

What motivated this whole synod is the fact that the people do not accept the We Catholics in Brazil NEVER ask for ordination of married men and the federal government (which is doing an excellent job) has to take care of the forest. What motivated this whole synod is the fact that the people do not accept the liberation theology, which is pushed down our throats by the bishops, priests, seminarians ... We are fighting faithfully against all this.

Last week they made a demonstration inside the Sé Cathedral in São Paulo asking for the release of a former president who is under arrest for corruption (he stole more than 200 billion reais from the public coffers) and this demonstration took place with the authorization of the priest in charge of the cathedral (priest who propagates liberation theology). The Catholic Church in Brazil is full of communist priests, who propagate communist ideals in the homilies. This synod is a reflection of all this. I ask you to pray for our clergy, but when I say "ours" I mean not only the clergy of Brazil, but the church in general. Our church is one, our God is one, our faith is one, and the gates of hell will never prevail against the Catholic Church.

  1. Another member of the Church Militant. It's all of apiece, and they are all Communists and destroyers. They can have the church, they have it already, but Catholicism they will not have, except their distorted vision of it. We will keep the true faith.

Comments are subject to deletion if they are not germane. I have no problem with a bit of colourful language, but blasphemy or depraved profanity will not be allowed. Attacks on the Catholic Faith will not be tolerated. Comments will be deleted that are republican (Yanks! Note the lower case 'r'!), attacks on the legitimacy of Pope Francis as the Vicar of Christ (I know he's a material heretic and a Protector of Perverts, and I definitely want him gone yesterday! However, he is Pope, and I pray for him every day.), the legitimacy of the House of Windsor or of the claims of the Elder Line of the House of France, or attacks on the legitimacy of any of the currently ruling Houses of Europe.
