Fr. Thomas J. Rosica, CSB Is Getting a Slap on the Wrist

Irenaeus (with a comment from Barona) on the heretic, Tommy Rosica, and how little is being done about his lies and plagiarism.

From Toronto Catholic Witness

Continuing the curious saga of Fr. Thomas J. Rosica, CSB, serial plagiarist extraordinaire, I can't help but notice he's getting off with nothing more than a slap on the wrist.

He has "resigned" - read, fired from - a few token positions at a few universities, and while many of the publications he has submitted "work" to are reviewing his pieces, he still has Salt and Light. His baby. So long as he has that, he's secure in his power.

Oh, Tom, will you ever learn that money and riches do not go with you to the afterlife?

It is being reported that Fr Rosica plagiarized from the works of the late St. Pope John Paul II.

I have reviewed his brief video promo for his "Seven Last Words..." book, which we now know contains extensive plagiarism.

We are all sinners. I am a sinner. Having said that, we all know that continual indulgence in habitual sin numbs the conscience and can lead to mental illness. In reviewing the promo video, I believe that it is possible that Fr Rosica is suffering from a Personality Disorder. The exact diagnosis is hard to determine without a complete psychiatric assessment. However, the evidence available shows, a set pattern of behaviour that is consistent with the disease's etiology. Fr Rosica continues to manifest many symptoms that are identified in the DSM as a personality disorder.

A major part of his problem is he has surrounded himself with enablers, who are unable or unwilling to direct him towards spiritual and psychiatric help.

Comments are subject to deletion if they are not germane. I have no problem with a bit of colourful language, but blasphemy or depraved profanity will not be allowed. Attacks on the Catholic Faith will not be tolerated. Comments will be deleted that are republican (Yanks! Note the lower case 'r'!), attacks on the legitimacy of Pope Leo XIV as the Vicar of Christ, the legitimacy of the House of Windsor or of the claims of the Elder Line of the House of France, or attacks on the legitimacy of any of the currently ruling Houses of Europe.
