Where in THE Heck Are You, Bishops & Cardinals?!

Oh my gosh, bishops and cardinals! Why were the special adorations and Rosaries happening left and right during the COVID outbreak, and yet not one of you has suggested this for the insanity going on in our country? What in the heck happened to you? If I missed you, please tap me on the shoulder and let me know, but if you didn’t, it is a HUGE derelict in duty. We should be praying as one for the souls of the many who have now died, everyone from George Floyd on down. We should be praying as one for peace to reign in our country. We should be praying for a return to God. You, however, are silent.

I have, however, seen one political statement after another from many of you. Nothing religious, just political. Don’t you believe in spiritual warfare anymore? Don’t you believe that satan probably got a bigger foothold with the loss of the sacraments these last few months?  Don’t you even believe in the sacraments anymore? If not, what do you actually believe that the statements of men who’ve lost a huge amount of moral credibility are going to do here? That’s rather pompous of you. Bring back the humility.

Try sacraments, Rosaries, adoration, fasting, prayer, prayer, and more prayer. Also, while you’re telling us we should bow down to people we did nothing to, maybe you should actually call us out for our personal sin, which just allows more sin to enter the world. Yes, we, too, are responsible for sin in this country, but not in the manner you suggest. Speak Truth, not pandering platitudes. Speak about the moral and spiritual. Stop speaking about the political.

Are you simply more afraid of dying from COVID than you are that this turmoil will personally affect you? Are you scared? Of what? Praying for peace? That you’ll somehow be accused of white privilege? Boo hoo! I’m here to tell you that you’ll live, at least in this life. I’m not really sure what you think you have to lose? Yes, some of you don’t want to hurt your political agendas. You’d much rather keep making those pandering platitudes and hanging out with celebrities. I’d expect nothing more from those, but what’s wrong with you faithful ones? You’re really letting us down here. Bring out the big guns for our nation. Less commentary, more spirituality!
