The Great Peshtigo Fire
Today is the 148th anniversary of the Great Chicago Fire. As surprising as it may seem, in terms of fatalities, it was not only not the worst fire in US history, it was not even the worst fire 148 years ago today! From another of my favourite YouTube channels, The History Guy.
