Debunking the Myth of Hell-The Fishwrap Goes Full On Heretical!

As Fr Zed calls it, the 'Fishwrap' (I'd be reluctant to wrap food in it for fear it would be tainted!), or as I refer to it the 'National Catholic Distorter', a/k/a the National Catholic Reporter has published an article calling hell a myth. It contains this gem,
I don’t care if scripture mentions hell or Jesus talked about it, if saints had visions of it, or if it’s a time-honored Catholic teaching. It simply can’t be justified on any level.
This, of course, is nothing new. The Fishwrap has been spouting heresy and opposing the Church on everything ever since its founding in 1964.

In fact, in 1968, jut four years after its founding, His Excellency Charles Herman Helmsing, Bishop of Kansas City-St Joseph, issued a statement condemning NCR, saying it had a "policy of crusading against the Church's teachings," a "poisonous character" and "disregard and denial of the most sacred values of our Catholic faith."Helmsing warned that NCR's writers were likely guilty of heresy and subject to the automatic excommunication that incurs. Because the publication "does not reflect the teaching of the Church, but on the contrary, has openly and deliberately opposed this teaching," he asked the editors to "drop the term 'Catholic' from their masthead" because "they deceive their Catholic readers and do a great disservice to ecumenism by ... watering down Catholic teachings."

They refused, of course!

Fr Zed has written a prayer for them, 'that God will pour abundant graces upon the staff of that organ of dissent the National catholic Reporter so that they will either embrace orthodox doctrine concerning faith and morals or that all their efforts will promptly fail and come to their just end.'

Normally I share entire articles, because they have a way of sometimes disappearing from the net. However, in this case, I wouldn't be bothered at all if it did. If you'd like to read the heretical bollocks, here's the link.

Comments are subject to deletion if they are not germane. I have no problem with a bit of colourful language, but blasphemy or depraved profanity will not be allowed. Attacks on the Catholic Faith will not be tolerated. Comments will be deleted that are republican (Yanks! Note the lower case 'r'!), attacks on the legitimacy of Pope Francis as the Vicar of Christ (I know he's a material heretic and a Protector of Perverts, and I definitely want him gone yesterday! However, he is Pope, and I pray for him every day.), the legitimacy of the House of Windsor or of the claims of the Elder Line of the House of France, or attacks on the legitimacy of any of the currently ruling Houses of Europe.
