The Lesser-Known Relic of Jesus That Possibly Confirms The Shroud Of Turin

When the Shroud was 'scientifically debunked' as a mediæval forgery, I lost some of my faith. Oh, not in the Shroud, but in 'science'!

This is amazing! I didn’t even know this existed! 😱
On this week’s episode of The Catholic Talk Show, Ryan Scheel, Ryan DellaCrosse, and Fr. Rich Pagano discuss “10 Mind-blowing Facts About The Shroud Of Turin.”
One important fact they cover is a lesser-known relic of Jesus, which might confirm the Shroud of Turin, or Jesus’ alleged burial cloth.
This relic is the Sudarium of Oviedo, or the “other shroud of Jesus.”

Ryan Scheel explains this relic in the video below:

Explaining the Sudarium of Oviedo

“Sudarium means ‘the sweat cloth,'” Scheel begins.
“In the Gospel of John, Peter finds the empty tomb. They are very specific about what he found in there”
John 20: 6-7 says, ‘When Simon Peter arrived after him (being John), he went in the tomb and saw the burial cloths there. And the cloth that had covered his head, not with the burial cloths, rolled up in a separate place,” Scheel quoted.
“There were two distinct burial linens: one, the wrappings, the other that had coved his head. That is the Sudarium, tradition says. The Sudarium has a known provenance all the way back to the fifth century in Spain.
Now why is this important?
“It’s important because the Sudarium has a known provenance, and the markings of the blood are 100 percent consistent with the markings of the blood of the head of the Shroud of Turin.
It’s same blood type, the same cloth type and if you put two pieces of clear paper over the blood markings, they line up exactly.
“These are things that helped to prove that the Shroud of Turin existed, and was known before it appears in the historical record in 13th-century France.”

How amazing! God is so awesome!

Attacks on the Catholic Faith will not be tolerated. Comments will be deleted that are republican (Yanks! Note the lower case 'r'!), attacks on the legitimacy of Pope Francis as the Vicar of Christ (I know he's a material heretic and a Protector of Perverts, and I definitely want him gone yesterday! However, he is Pope, and I pray for him every day.), the legitimacy of the House of Windsor or of the claims of the Elder Line of the House of France, or attacks on the legitimacy of any of the currently ruling Houses of Europe.
