ROCHET. A sleeved over-tunic of white linen, lace trimmed or embroidered, worn by bishops, abbots, and other prelates. It is an unofficial vestment. (Etym. Middle English rochet, red; from Latin rubeus, reddish.)

A choir vestment, similar to the surplice or cotta. As far as I know, there is no similar vestment in the East.
