I haven't changed my mind in well over 50 years!
From The Forge and Anvil
Once upon a time, the Jews of ancient Israel “rocked the vote” when they chose to let a murderous rebel live, preferring that their only hope for salvation should be killed. “Crucify him! Crucify him!” the mob screeched. And so it was that the collective groupthink chose to brutally kill the world’s first and only god-man.
The people of those days chose to kill a man who could ‘ve saved the world. The people of these days choose to kill a Church capable of doing the same.
The hierarchy of the Catholic Church is obsessed with Freemasonic desires to destroy the Church’s power, relegating it to a democratic status that will ensure anarchy and atomization among any last vestiges of the faithful. God allows this, and He allows it because mankind as a whole—even Church laity—prefer to take it upon themselves to rule and decide what’s best. Face it, a majority of Catholics are effectively living like Protestants. And a Protestant (the root word being “protest”) is in continual protest against authority.
Democracy is an acceptable thing in moderation. But it is only useful in small instances. To “give the vote” to hundreds of millions of people—or to even democratize the world, as George W. Bush would have us do—is to destroy all social order and transform the masses into raging mobs. Destruction doesn’t happen overnight; it takes years, which is one reason why so many people are blind to the effects. Yet today, it can be plainly seen how the world is starting to resemble Dante’s fourth circle of Hell, in which two raging mobs push a boulder against one another, seeking dominance.
The world rages against all authority. Sure, a few desperately struggle to hold onto their cultural inheritance, but on the whole, Man despises anything resembling the Logos. As long as people are able to remain living in relative comfort, they will continue to be blinded to any truth. Perhaps, in today’s society, some small gains are made here and there for justice and truth. Yet such victories will prove themselves short and ineffective in the long term. A Trump victory today will be followed with a bloody Leftist coup tomorrow.
As a colleague recently said to me, “God means to show us very graphically and painfully what it’s like not to have a shepherd on duty. ” My friend was only speaking about the Catholic Church, but I believe it to be true of the whole world. From governments and prelates to parents and HR departments, when it comes to morality and ethics, no one is at the wheel.
The age of Christendom is quite over, much to the delight of the God-haters. Now begins a new age of Chastisement, in which God turns us over to our mad desires. This age begins with a rollout of a “social” zombie apocalypse, culminating in widespread world revolution that has us all cutting each other’s throats. It will terminate with disasters —natural and supernatural—so terrifying that men will die from fright.
Further updates on this new burgeoning state of things can either be gleaned from news headlines or found in the twentieth chapter of The Book of the Apocalypse.

Comments are subject to deletion if they are not germane. I have no problem with a bit of colourful language, but blasphemy or depraved profanity will not be allowed. Attacks on the Catholic Faith will not be tolerated. Comments will be deleted that are republican (Yanks! Note the lower case 'r'!), attacks on the legitimacy of Pope Francis as the Vicar of Christ (I know he's a material heretic and a Protector of Perverts, and I definitely want him gone yesterday! However, he is Pope, and I pray for him every day.), the legitimacy of the House of Windsor or of the claims of the Elder Line of the House of France, or attacks on the legitimacy of any of the currently ruling Houses of Europe.
