The latest crop of ordinations are men who hold orthodox attitudes about the faith. That's not good news for Modernist Rome.
The musings and meandering thoughts of a crotchety old man as he observes life in the world and in a small, rural town in South East Nebraska. My Pledge-Nulla dies sine linea-Not a day with out a line.

Comments are subject to deletion if they are not germane. I have no problem with a bit of colourful language, but blasphemy or depraved profanity will not be allowed. Attacks on the Catholic Faith will not be tolerated. Comments will be deleted that are republican (Yanks! Note the lower case 'r'!), attacks on the legitimacy of Pope Francis as the Vicar of Christ (I know he's a material heretic and a Protector of Perverts, and I definitely want him gone yesterday! However, he is Pope, and I pray for him every day.), the legitimacy of the House of Windsor or of the claims of the Elder Line of the House of France, or attacks on the legitimacy of any of the currently ruling Houses of Europe.
Boy does Francis looks ticked off about the reception that is Moto Proprio got from the majority of Bishops and the amount of young orthodox priests that are being ordained. Much less the backlash that he had been getting from not just the orthodox faithful but the majority of Catholics in general.
ReplyDeleteThe outcome of modernism has taken its toll on the past few generations of Catholic people and parents are unable to correctly convey the Faith to their children. The post-Conciliar era has only doubled down on rejecting orthodox magisterial teaching. Why would we be surprised that so many of the representatives of the Church have lost their way. It does appear that newly ordained priests are beginning to breath new life into the Church . As the dead leaves fall from the tree of life, may the new spring-time of life in the Faith avoid that disease that so recently spoiled the fruit of the vine.
