What About the Other Liturgical Books?

Archbishop Dennis Schnurr of Cinncinatti has issued guidelines for the Archdiocese regarding Traditionis Custodes. Keeping in mind that he is being as generous as he can in regards to limiting the TLM, he brings up something that I don't think anyone has noticed, or if they have, I haven't seen anything about it in the Trad blogosphere or on Catholic news sites.

Quote:

III. Other Non-Eucharistic, Sacramental Celebrations

a. According to Art. 8, “Previous norms, instructions, permissions, and customs that do not conform to the provisions of the present Motu Proprio are abrogated.”
b. Subsequently, the current legislation does not make provision for the use of other liturgical books in force in 1962, including the Rituale Romanum of 1952 for the celebration of the Sacramental rites of the Church.

There goes Baptism in the Traditional form with its exorcisms, Matrimony according to the Old Rite, the rich blessings that actually bless the object instead of blessing the user, etc., etc. And I would assume that it also prohibits the use of the 1962 Breviary that many Trad leaning Priests have adopted under SP, unless they belong to an Order that, at least for the time being, isn't affected.

Have any of my readers seen anything about this?

Comments are subject to deletion if they are not germane. I have no problem with a bit of colourful language, but blasphemy or depraved profanity will not be allowed. Attacks on the Catholic Faith will not be tolerated. Comments will be deleted that are republican (Yanks! Note the lower case 'r'!), attacks on the legitimacy of Pope Francis as the Vicar of Christ (I know he's a material heretic and a Protector of Perverts, and I definitely want him gone yesterday! However, he is Pope, and I pray for him every day.), the legitimacy of the House of Windsor or of the claims of the Elder Line of the House of France, or attacks on the legitimacy of any of the currently ruling Houses of Europe.
