Eucharistic Adoration and Our Little Parish

I've mentioned several times that our Diocese held a Rosary Crusade for the intention of establishing Adoration in more Parishes. It's bearing fruit!

We are a small Parish. We share our Pastor with an even smaller one. We have a Saturday evening Mass and one on Sunday morning. Average attendance at each is about 30 people.

We have frequently had Exposition and Adoration, but except for this past Lent when we had it every Sunday, it's never been on  a regular schedule.

That changes this week. Starting on Wednesday, we will have Simple Exposition and Adoration on Wednesdays from 06.00 to 06.45 (before the 07.00 Mass) and on Thursdays from 18.30 until 19.30.

Plus, a key less (keypad) lock is being installed so that the Church will be available to Parishioners for prayer before the Blessed Sacrament when our Pastor is away and when it needs to be locked for security at night.

Blessed be Jesus in the Most Holy Sacrament of the Altar!

Comments are subject to deletion if they are not germane. I have no problem with a bit of colourful language, but blasphemy or depraved profanity will not be allowed. Attacks on the Catholic Faith will not be tolerated. Comments will be deleted that are republican (Yanks! Note the lower case 'r'!), attacks on the legitimacy of Pope Francis as the Vicar of Christ (I know he's a material heretic and a Protector of Perverts, and I definitely want him gone yesterday! However, he is Pope, and I pray for him every day.), the legitimacy of the House of Windsor or of the claims of the Elder Line of the House of France, or attacks on the legitimacy of any of the currently ruling Houses of Europe.
