Belloc, the thinner half of the Chesterbelloc, is one of my favourite writers. Whilst his style is not as 'effervescent' as Chesterton's, he is still an easy read. He deals with many of the same subjects, but he brought his own perspective to anything he wrote.
I strongly encourage my readers to check him out. Many of his books are free, online.
