Chevalier Charles Coulombe on Dungeons & Dragons

I'm jumping the gun a bit here. There will be a regularly scheduled video at 15.00 CST, but I wanted to post this one before I forgot it.

I first played Dungeon & Dragons, or D & D, back in the early '80s, when it was the ultimate sign of geekdom. In those days, it was mostly young men with very little social life. Just a few years ago, I played with a group of mature adults, both men and women, all of whom 'had lives' as they say. My children play it regularly as a family activity, and my ten year old grandson is learning it.

So, when I saw the title of this video, I was quite interested in what the Chevalier's opinion would be. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that he had been a Dungeon Master, running the dungeon in which the other players 'quest'. He tells an amusing story of why he was banned from playing by his friends for being a mean Dungeon Master!

Comments are subject to deletion if they are not germane. I have no problem with a bit of colourful language, but blasphemy or depraved profanity will not be allowed. Attacks on the Catholic Faith will not be tolerated. Comments will be deleted that are republican (Yanks! Note the lower case 'r'!), attacks on the legitimacy of Pope Francis as the Vicar of Christ (I know he's a material heretic and a Protector of Perverts, and I definitely want him gone yesterday! However, he is Pope, and I pray for him every day.), the legitimacy of the House of Windsor or of the claims of the Elder Line of the House of France, or attacks on the legitimacy of any of the currently ruling Houses of Europe.
