Where in the World is Cardinal Blase Cupich?

I had wondered why Cupich wasn't all over the news during the meeting. I didn't know he had 'gone missing' to Rome halfway through.

Update: I’m actually not buying that Pope Francis pulled him in the middle of their meeting for this without cause and it hardly explains why his lips were sealed during the first two days but the Pillar reports:

Cardinal Cupich goes to Rome

Yesterday, the Vatican press officially announced that Pope Francis has asked Cardinal Blase Cupich to lead a visitation of the Dicastery for Promoting Integral Human Development. The cardinal will begin his work in the next few days and juggle it with his ongoing responsibilities in Chicago. 

Am I only the one who has noticed that Cardinal Cupich is the new Gavin Newsom? Not one peep from him this entire week. No liberal media quotes. No whiny tweets. Nada. What is going on?!?! Does the fully immunized monarch, and mandator of Covid vaccines for all employees, have Covid? Is there something serious about to drop and the liberals couldn’t be anchored with him any longer? Something is afoot. His Tweet on November 12th (which I assume was a typo by someone since it didn’t start on or near the 12th) said :

Please pray for me and my brother bishops as we gather for the @USCCB Fall General Assembly for the next four days.

I have not seen one reporting on the liberal golden boy’s gums flapping from the USCCB meeting and the Pillar reported this:

Cardinal Blase Cupich, a driving force among the bishops who had opposed the document, was not present for Wednesday’s debate, or the vote to adopt the text. He reportedly flew to Rome Tuesday night. That might have nothing to do with the bishops’ document. But in Baltimore, more than a few bishops have asked the question: Will there be one more round in this particular fight?

Did he run off to Rome to beg for help as usual? I mean running off to Rome in the middle of the meeting you’ve talking about for months is strange. Or did he finally get caught with his hand somewhere it should not have been? Seriously, what is the deal? This is more than weird considering he is the media darling.
