There has been all sorts of celebrating in pro-life circles over things like Texas' passing of a pro-life law and so on. There is always all sorts of celebrating in pro-life circles, over things that later turn out to have limited or no effect because any pro-life thing that passes is immediately challenged in court by pro-aborts and placed on hold until it usually dies a natural death.
Why the celebrations, then? Well, the latest answer is that the U.S. Supreme Court is going to "consider a case that might overturn Roe v. Wade!" The cry is that "We have so many conservatives on the Supreme Court now!" and that "There are enough there on our side to overturn Roe!"
Oh, really? Like John Roberts, who has proven to be a liberal in a thin disguise who will almost surely vote in favor of abortion, but who pretended to be pro-life upon his nomination? Like Brett Kavanaugh, who has made clear he puts "duty first," which in the context of someone kissing butts to get on the Supreme Court means putting what the establishment wants over the right to life of countless babies?
There are two sure votes against abortion on the Supreme Court: those of Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito. It will take a lot more than two to overturn Roe v. Wade in the court, and the outright pro-abortion stance or hand-wringing uncertainty of other judges does not look good toward this. That is the reality, and pro-life "leaders" ought to be telling people the reality instead of giving them pie-in-the-sky reasons for hope.
Faced with these stark facts, more people might get out to protest against abortion clinics and offer adoption alternatives to pregnant women, as people did in places like Missouri which now seems to have NO abortion clinics in the state, thanks be to God. If done on a widespread basis, that is what would work a lot faster than waiting for positive decisions on abortion to come from the same government that allowed the mass genocide of babies to begin in the first place, and which has protected its evil ever since.

Comments are subject to deletion if they are not germane. I have no problem with a bit of colourful language, but blasphemy or depraved profanity will not be allowed. Attacks on the Catholic Faith will not be tolerated. Comments will be deleted that are republican (Yanks! Note the lower case 'r'!), attacks on the legitimacy of Pope Francis as the Vicar of Christ (I know he's a material heretic and a Protector of Perverts, and I definitely want him gone yesterday! However, he is Pope, and I pray for him every day.), the legitimacy of the House of Windsor or of the claims of the Elder Line of the House of France, or attacks on the legitimacy of any of the currently ruling Houses of Europe.
