After three or four days of unseasonably warm, spring like weather, winter is trying to make a comeback. Yesterday, we had snow. Not enough to create any sort of problems, but all day, just a few flakes were flying. You could see it in tiny piles where something protected it from the wind.
Yesterday was cloudy and dreary, but today dawned bright and crisp. Sunshine all day, but a stiff breeze, making it feel colder than it actually was. However, the signs of approaching spring are upon us! Large skeins of geese are heading north, honking as they fly overhead. The geese love our area for their migration. There are cornfields everywhere, including one just a block up School Street. That means grains of corn strewn all over the harvested fields. And, thanks to Nebraska's Natural Resource District program, there are lakes scattered all over the region. For the geese, that means a bed and breakfast!
And, there are buds on the trees! Spring is coming!

Comments are subject to deletion if they are not germane. I have no problem with a bit of colourful language, but blasphemy or depraved profanity will not be allowed. Attacks on the Catholic Faith will not be tolerated. Comments will be deleted that are republican (Yanks! Note the lower case 'r'!), attacks on the legitimacy of Pope Francis as the Vicar of Christ (I know he's a material heretic and a Protector of Perverts, and I definitely want him gone yesterday! However, he is Pope, and I pray for him every day.), the legitimacy of the House of Windsor or of the claims of the Elder Line of the House of France, or attacks on the legitimacy of any of the currently ruling Houses of Europe.
