Prayers for Ireland

As some of you may have realised from my pinned post Please Pray for Ireland!, Ireland is having a constitutional referendum on 'legalising' the murder of the unborn. A Facebook group has been started to encourage people to join in a Novena to St Patrick, 8 March-16 March before his Feast Day and to pray the Rosary for the defeat of the referendum until 25 May, the date of the referendum. Here is the link, Trias Thaumaturga.

Here is the statement from the group's founder,
So the fight is well and truly on and the Irish Abortion Referendum is scheduled for May 25, traditionally observed as the Feast of St. Mocholla. For my part, being in England, the most campaigning I can do is online and the bits of writing I can manage. However, the thing about this whole issue is that it is also a spiritual battle. Abortion is to Satan what the Mass is to the Church; it is a perverse and evil confutation of the unbloody Sacrifice of the Altar through the mass slaughter of the innocent. As such, Spiritual weaponry is also required to defeat this diabolic effort.
As a result, I have organised devotions at St. Michael's School as a means of countering the devil. On Thursday, the 8th March, we are beginning the Novena to Saint Patrick with the intention of defeating the referendum. The novena will be followed by Rosary for the same intention, every day until Saint Patrick's Feast Day. Thereafter, daily Rosary will be preceded by the Litany of the Irish Saints, every single day until the Referendum. It is also my hope to gather together Mass stipends next month to assist in this effort.
God raised up holy men and women amongst the Gael for the purpose of offering holy examples to follow amongst our own race. As their children, we have a natural host of allies in Heaven to assist us in this battle. I hope to employ your prayers also. If the English can be persuaded to beg of the Irish saints for assistance in this matter, what of our own people at home and scattered across the Globe? I ask all of you to join with us. I have created a group for this purpose. Please join our devotions and help keep abortion out of Ireland. Share it with your friends and recruit as many people as possible to join.

Comments are subject to deletion if they are not germane. I have no problem with a bit of colourful language, but blasphemy or depraved profanity will not be allowed. Attacks on the Catholic Faith will not be tolerated. Comments will be deleted that are republican (Yanks! Note the lower case 'r'!), attacks on the legitimacy of Pope Francis as the Vicar of Christ (I know he's a material heretic and a Protector of Perverts, and I definitely want him gone yesterday! However, he is Pope, and I pray for him every day.), the legitimacy of the House of Windsor or of the claims of the Elder Line of the House of France, or attacks on the legitimacy of any of the currently ruling Houses of Europe.
