It hasn't actually been suppressed, but severely limited. Is this the future of the 'spirit of Traditionis Custodes'?
The musings and meandering thoughts of a crotchety old man as he observes life in the world and in a small, rural town in South East Nebraska. My Pledge-Nulla dies sine linea-Not a day with out a line.

Comments are subject to deletion if they are not germane. I have no problem with a bit of colourful language, but blasphemy or depraved profanity will not be allowed. Attacks on the Catholic Faith will not be tolerated. Comments will be deleted that are republican (Yanks! Note the lower case 'r'!), attacks on the legitimacy of Pope Francis as the Vicar of Christ (I know he's a material heretic and a Protector of Perverts, and I definitely want him gone yesterday! However, he is Pope, and I pray for him every day.), the legitimacy of the House of Windsor or of the claims of the Elder Line of the House of France, or attacks on the legitimacy of any of the currently ruling Houses of Europe.
When traveling on business I frequently attend an FSSP parish in Mexico City where I've met seminarians from the FSSP house of formation in Guadalajara. These young men filled me with hope for the future of the Church: They are solid in their faith, committed to the Church, and EVERY SINGLE ONE seemed to me would make a great priest. Their seminary was full - as was the Mass I attended with them. Just as I was filled with hope by these men, I can't understand why the bishop of Guadalajara in suppressing this Order. We need to pray - and PRAY HARD for the future of our Church. The battle rages but the war is won.
ReplyDeleteI live only about 40 Km from the FSSP Seminary in Denton, Nebraska.
