The Visegrad Four stand firm against the colonialism of the EU, the globalists, and the Left-wing stormtroopers. God bless and save them!

There really are none so blind as those who will not see. Take, for instance, the nonsense afflicting our culture. The past has been cancelled as nothing but a product of white supremacist colonialism. Biological sexual differences have been cancelled as nothing but a product of sexist homophobia. It’s as though we have slipped from the real to the surreal, from the sane to the insane, via the inane, allowing ideological dreams of an imagined tomorrow to transform the present into the nightmare of cancelled culture. It’s even more unreal than the wildest and weirdest works of fantasy. The mad hatter’s tea party was never as insane as the lunacy dreamed up by ideologues and academics, the latter of which are lost in the ivory tower of their own agenda-driven ignorance and the arrogance it engenders. Such pride-driven souls are lost in Dante’s Dark Wood and do not even know it. They are playing their truly pathetic part in the Divine Comedy being performed in God’s Omnipresence. The Theatre of the Absurd, or perhaps the Theatre of the Reductio ad Absurdum! As for those of us who retain a modicum of sanity in this mad world, we only need to keep our eyes on the finishing line, laughing at the devil as we do so!
This somewhat perambulatory preamble serves as an introduction to a meditation on the new colonialism and the way that the lunatics of Pride are its stormtroopers. Take, for instance, the way in which global corporations and big tech companies are forcing the cancel culture down the throats of the disenfranchised plebians of the world. We see it in the United States, in which a Big Government is getting too big for its jackboots, forging an alliance with big business, big media, and big tech to make the pride-agenda compulsory, cancelling all dissident opinion through modes of censorship, intimidation and new draconian laws. We see it in Europe, in which the imperialists of the European Union are seeking to force the small but courageous countries in central Europe to embrace the lunacy of cancel culture.
In a recent interview, Poland’s Foreign Minister Zbigniew Rau accused the European Union of harbouring “colonial” attitudes towards the countries of central Europe, criticizing the EU for its efforts to subjugate the peoples of Europe to its neo-colonial agenda. He praised the work of the Visegrad Group (V4), made up of Poland, Hungary, and the Czech and Slovak republics, which have been resisting the efforts of the EU to enforce the globalist and relativist agendas on their unwilling people.
“In certain circles, colonial habits and views still linger,” Mr. Rau said, “in line with the idea in which small and less wealthy countries are supposed to be mere recipients of political ideas or cultural trends.” He argued that these neo-colonialist attitudes were an anti-democratic anachronism, insisting that the V4 countries have the same right to express their views, to decide their own path of economic and social change, and to define the course of systemic reforms, as other European countries do. “And we are going to staunchly defend that right, whether people like it or not,” he said.
Amongst other issues, the EU has sought to force the people of central Europe to accept EU-mandated quotas of immigrants from Islamic countries and have sought to force them to adopt anti-marriage laws inspired by the homosexist Pride agenda.
In short and in sum, the people of central Europe are refusing to join the mad hatter’s tea party.
This is not the first time that Poland has been at the forefront of the defence of Christian Europe from her enemies. It was Poland’s famous “winged hussars”, under the command of King John III Sobieski, which won the decisive victory in the Battle of Vienna in 1683, saving Europe from the Islamic Ottoman Empire. In the heroic defence of their homeland from the communists in the Polish-Bolshevik War of 1919-20, the Poles saved Europe from Marxist imperialism and totalitarianism, at least until the betrayal of Europe at the Yalta Conference in 1945, which handed half of Europe, including Poland, over to the terror of the Stalinist Soviet Union.
It was Poland, inspired by the Polish Pope, St. John Paul II, which began the overthrow of the Soviet Union. Inspired by Pope John Paul’s visit to Poland and his call for courage, the Polish people began a campaign of civil resistance to communist rule which would spread to all the other Soviet-controlled countries of Europe, including, ultimately, Russia itself. Today, it is Poland which is spearheading the European resistance to the globalist imperialism of the European Union and its plutocratic allies. These few, these happy few examples of Polish heroism will serve to confirm Poland as Europe’s heroic heart.
Such an understanding of Poland’s importance was encapsulated by G. K. Chesterton. “If Poland had not been born again,” he wrote during a visit to Poland in 1927, “all the Christian nations would have died.” Echoing this viewpoint, Hilaire Belloc wrote at the outbreak of World War Two that “the test is Poland”: “The determination to save Poland, which is a determination not only to defeat Prussia but to oust the vile and murderous Communism of Moscow, is the moral condition of victory. If we waver we are lost.”
Shortly after his return from Poland, Chesterton gave a talk in London which was advertised as “What Poland Is.” He thought the title unfortunate. “[Y]ou can’t define a living thing, least of all such a living thing as Poland, one of the most living things in the world, because nothing can be so living as a thing which has risen from the dead.”
Although he couldn’t have known it, Chesterton was stating something more profound and more prophetic than he could have imagined. In the following decades, Poland would die twice more under both German and Soviet occupation, only to rise again from both deaths. Today, Europe’s heroic heart is again being attacked, this time by the forces of globalism. These are powerful enemies. Perhaps they might succeed in killing Poland once again. If so, those with faith will return once more to the catacombs to wait patiently and prayerfully for the next resurrection.
In the interim, the struggle against the new globalist colonialism continues. Those who value genuine multiculturalism are on the side of the small nations against the new Empire. Those who see the sovereign nations of the world as unique flowers in a global garden of cultural expression, will resist the new colonialists and their plan for a one-world monoculture. As for the ideologues and the academics, who’s side are they on? In their obsession with “critical race theory” and its implicit racist reduction of everything to the question of skin colour, they are too busy cancelling the past to see the danger that the new colonialism poses to the present. In their obsession with a slavery that has long since been abolished, they are paving the way for a new slavery in which the voice of the weak will be trampled by the power of the globalist empire, an empire which, ironically, is being aided and abetted in its colonialism by those advocates of Pride who are the empire’s dupes and its stormtroopers. There are, indeed, none so blind as those who will not see.
Once again I enjoy your wonderful blog. Great stuff! keep up the good work. God bless.
