We all know how conservative Lincoln is and that is across the board, in religions, politics and ideologies.
The Diocese of Lincoln is particularly orthodox. So how, how, how did this happen??????

The Benedictine altar arrangement does help but not much. Apart from gutting this “piece of art” what could be done to make it more attractive/traditional. The side wall looks like something out of Fred Flintstone’s church!
