"Mystic Rose in God's Fair Garden Growing": Dr. Kwasniewski's New Book on the Blessed Virgin Mary

Yet another book I want! So many books and so little time. However, I just bought it on Kindle for $8.99, so it's now on my phone. Ka-ching!

From
Rorate Cæli

By Peter Kwasniewski, PhD

In this month of the Most Holy Rosary, I am delighted to announce my new book: Mystic Rose in God's Fair Garden Growing: Our Lady on Prayer, the Mass, and Union with Christ, published by Arouca Press.

The Blessed Virgin Mary is the authoritative guide to living the Christian faith—above all, when it comes to its pulsing heart, the Holy Mass. Mystic Rose weaves together theological, liturgical, and devotional insights into Our Lady, drawing out the subtle splendors of the Holy Rosary and its intimate kinship with the Latin Mass, discovering unsuspected riches in the familiar Leonine prayers, unfolding the meaning of select Marian feasts and apparitions, and specifying the obligations a Catholic has toward approved private revelations.

Nor do I shy away from controversial questions, such as: why Fatima deserves to be accepted and Medjugorje rejected; how the vision of Knock provides a key to understanding the crisis through which we are passing; why the traditional Roman Rite is profoundly Marian in its principles and practice, whereas the modern rite imposed in 1969 is anti-Marian, endangering the Church's vocation as virgin, bride, and mother; and why the Holy Theotokos should be held and hailed as mediatrix of all graces and co-redemptrix.

And since the Queen of Heaven is “all beautiful,” the book pays her loving homage with dozens of full-color artworks to nourish the imagination.

(Please note that the colors are more vibrant in the printed book)

As mentioned, this book is from Arouca Press but, by special agreement, signed copies will also be available at the Os Justi Press webshop. And, of course, it's on Amazon too. (Since this book is brand-new, the stock is still arriving. Copies will ship out as soon as they are available.)

Available in paperback, hardcover, and ebook. You can "look inside" at the Os Justi link, and read there the endorsements from Bishop Athanasius Schneider, Archbishop Thomas E. Gullickson, Leila Marie Lawler, Sister Marie Gabrielle, and Jennifer S. Bryson.

To God be the glory, and may His Mother be loved and venerated as best pleases Him!

Attacks on the Catholic Faith will not be tolerated. Comments will be deleted that are republican (Yanks! Note the lower case 'r'!), attacks on the legitimacy of Pope Leo XIV as the Vicar of Christ, the legitimacy of the House of Windsor or of the claims of the Elder Line of the House of France, or attacks on the legitimacy of any of the currently ruling Houses of Europe.
