Today is the 108th anniversary of the murder of the Russian Imperial Family by the Bolsheviks, who became the Communist Party of Russia, which Vladimir Putin served faithfully.

On July 17, the Orthodox Christian community solemnly commemorates the Feast of the Royal Martyrs, honouring the last Romanov family of Russia: Saints; Tsar Nicholas II, Tsarina Alexandra, and their children, Olga, Tatiana, Maria, Anastasia, and Alexei. This day serves as a poignant reminder of the family’s martyrdom in 1918 and their unwavering faith amidst suffering and persecution.

A Brief Historical Overview

The Romanov dynasty, which had ruled Russia for over three centuries, faced a dramatic and violent end during the Russian Revolution. The political turmoil and the rise of the Bolsheviks led to the abdication of Tsar Nicholas II in 1917.
