The Royal Family of Queen Victoria ~ (1819–1901)

From The Romanian Monarchist

Victoria (Alexandrina Victoria; 24 May 1819 – 22 January 1901) was Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland from 20 June 1837 until she died in 1901. Her reign of 63 years and 216 days is known as the Victorian era and was longer than any of her predecessors. It was a period of industrial, political, scientific, and military change within the United Kingdom, and was marked by a great expansion of the British Empire. In 1876, the British Parliament voted to grant her the additional title of Empress of India. In 1840, she married Prince Albert of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha, and they had a total of 8 children:
  • Victoria, German Empress
  • Edward VII
  • Alice, Grand Duchess of Hesse and by Rhine
  • Alfred, Duke of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha
  • Helena, Princess Christian of Schleswig-Holstein
  • Princess Louise, Duchess of Argyll
  • Prince Arthur, Duke of Connaught and Strathearn
  • Prince Leopold, Duke of Albany
  • Beatrice, Princess Henry of Battenberg

Comments are subject to deletion if they are not germane. I have no problem with a bit of colourful language, but blasphemy or depraved profanity will not be allowed. Attacks on the Catholic Faith will not be tolerated. Comments will be deleted that are republican (Yanks! Note the lower case 'r'!), attacks on the legitimacy of Pope Leo XIV as the Vicar of Christ, the legitimacy of the House of Windsor or of the claims of the Elder Line of the House of France, or attacks on the legitimacy of any of the currently ruling Houses of Europe.
