You spend three hundred dollars on a high-tech synthetic jacket, yet you're shivering in plus forty-degree weather. Meanwhile, a medieval peasant in simple wool stayed warm through winters that hit minus forty Fahrenheit. What's going on here?
The problem isn't your expensive outer layer. It's what you're wearing underneath it. That cotton t-shirt is sabotaging your entire thermal system from within. Modern comfort has made our bodies weaker at generating natural heat, and we've forgotten the three-layer system that kept people alive in brutal conditions.

Attacks on the Catholic Faith will not be tolerated. Comments will be deleted that are republican (Yanks! Note the lower case 'r'!), attacks on the legitimacy of Pope Leo XIV as the Vicar of Christ, the legitimacy of the House of Windsor or of the claims of the Elder Line of the House of France, or attacks on the legitimacy of any of the currently ruling Houses of Europe.
