Today is the 1646th anniversary of the Edict of Thessalonica, by which the Emperor Theodosius I and his Co-Emperors in the West, Gratian and Valentinian II, declared that all Nicene Christians were Roman Citizens.
Thus, all Catholics can proudly declare with St Paul: "I am a Roman Citizen" ~ Acts 22:27
It is also the 1754th anniversary of the birth of St Constantine the Great, Equal to the Apostles.
