The people of Belgium have been through alot over the years even before the current kingdom existed. Since the war for independence they have shared triumphs and hardships in projects, civil and military, around the world and endured invasion, occupation and eventual liberation in both world wars. I would hope that there is too much there to unite on for the people to decide to divide now. A world without the Kingdom of Belgium would be the worse off. Long live the King and God save Belgium!
