And I recently heard Charles Coulombe relate that when he was younger he had modernist Priests tell him that there was no Latin at the Last Supper, to which he would reply that there was no collection either! Interestingly, at that point, the modernists would change the subject.

Latin in the Mass
I think it was Thomas Molnar in The Counter-Revolution that said only history would tell whether the greater damage was done to Western Civilisation by the loss of the Baltic Republics or by the loss of Latin in the Church. Well, the Baltics are free now and what remains of Latin in the Church is under attack.
