The Weather

I have lived on what are called the Great Plains in the US, and the Prairies in Canada, all my life. You'd think I'd be used to the vagaries of the weather by now, but the last couple of weeks have been crazy!

After a few beautiful days in the 70s F, we had about an inch of snow a week ago Friday. Then a few days later, we had a Red Flag Day, so hot and dry that there was a concern for wildfires. That was followed by a freeze warning.

Then it warmed up again, reaching 85 F a few days ago. Today? It's just after 14.00 as I type this and it's 32 degrees outside, with a windchill of 18 F and a low of 22 F forecast for tonight. The Cuter & Shorter Half picked all the daffodils for a table decoration so they wouldn't freeze tonight!

When will spring come to stay!?

Comments are subject to deletion if they are not germane. I have no problem with a bit of colourful language, but blasphemy or depraved profanity will not be allowed. Attacks on the Catholic Faith will not be tolerated. Comments will be deleted that are republican (Yanks! Note the lower case 'r'!), attacks on the legitimacy of Pope Francis as the Vicar of Christ (I know he's a material heretic and a Protector of Perverts, and I definitely want him gone yesterday! However, he is Pope, and I pray for him every day.), the legitimacy of the House of Windsor or of the claims of the Elder Line of the House of France, or attacks on the legitimacy of any of the currently ruling Houses of Europe.
