Meghan: The Daughter-in-Law From Hell

A woman's take on the former HRH, the Duchess of Sussex.

MAYBE Meghan Markle should have taken some time to watch The Crown before deciding to take on the Queen. If she had, she could have saved herself and Harry a lot of humiliation. If she had, she would have understood that the Crown always wins.

The Queen hasn’t run the good ship Britannia for this long to be rolled over by some glitzy, glossy actress from the States. There was only going to be one winner from this – and as usual, as always, it was Elizabeth Regina. The downside is that Meghan has taken Harry with her.

Truly, Meghan is the woman every mother lives in dread that her son will one day bring home; the beautiful woke woman who will prise your darling boy not into life of virtue and masculine independence, but into a life of self-absorption and self-pity that also entails the all-too-familiar cutting of family ties and self-ruin.

James Delingpole put it brilliantly: ‘Prince Harry got woke, now he’s broke’.

Delingpole: ‘Before he met Meghan Markle, he was one of the lads; a polo-playing, cigarette-smoking, hard-drinking action man with a string of hot girlfriends, a twinkle in his eye that made him probably the Queen’s favourite grandchild, and a common touch which made him the people’s favourite young royal.

‘But no sooner had he fallen under Meghan’s spell, he became a husk of his former self – riddled with anxiety about everything from the state of the planet to his own mental health, excruciatingly politically correct, replacing polo and shooting and fox hunting with wife-endorsed yoga sessions, reduced to prostituting his royal status – and being caught on camera – begging the CEO of Disney to give his wife some voiceover work. Under the malign influence of Hollywood princess Meghan, Harry got woke and now he’s broke.’

Although Ms Markle is a little over 35, she is a good example of why the latest non-woke hero Laurence Fox shuns ‘woke’ women under 35. Fox learnt to avoid younger women because they seemed to enjoy playing ‘victims’. ‘The cut-off for me is about 34. If you go under 35 they are absolutely bonkers,’ he said.

If only Fox had come out with this advice to Harry a few years ago. Meghan was only a bit over 35 I think when she met Harry, but still it must have been obvious she was ‘absolutely bonkers’ and loves playing the victim. Once she got her claws into Harry, he has transformed into the very worst kind of man – a male feminist. This is why he has a life of misery before him, complaining about being both a prince and a victim.

Piers Morgan points out the ludicrous situation of Harry saying he is not abandoning Britain, right before he leaves for Canada for good.

Harry was once both a sensitive lad and a blokey bloke at the same time. Then he met Meghan (someone must have been asleep at the wheel on that one). And now he is abandoning, in no particular order: his grandmother the Queen, his father, his brother, his military honours and his country. For what? A few invitations from the Obamas and the Clooneys? It’s sad. It’s a modern-day Shakespearean tragedy.

If this teaches us one thing, and I’m talking to the mothers here, be on guard. Unsuitable girlfriends are ten a penny, but do not let your son marry a woke princess. That means watch out for veganism, girls who look negatively upon the patriarchy and those who say, ‘I’d like to take this household in a new progressive direction’ just as you are about to put the Sunday roast on the table. Show these wimmin the door asap. The best way to do that is probably to keep referring to her as a ‘young lady’ and ask her to help you serve dessert to your husband and son. She’ll be out of the house in a flash.

Note the lower case 'r'!), attacks on the legitimacy of Pope Francis as the Vicar of Christ (I know he's a material heretic and a Protector of Perverts, and I definitely want him gone yesterday! However, he is Pope, and I pray for him every day.), the legitimacy of the House of Windsor or of the claims of the Elder Line of the House of France, or attacks on the legitimacy of any of the currently ruling Houses of Europe.
