However, after a few months of the list, one of the members suggested turning it into a Usenet newsgroup. Usenet newsgroups were precursors of discussion forums on the web. Here's what Wikipedia has to say about them
A Usenet newsgroup is a repository usually within the Usenet system, for messages posted from many users in different locations using the Internet. (Despite the name, newsgroups are discussion groups. They are not devoted to publishing news, although they had been so intended when the internet was young.) Newsgroups are technically distinct from, but functionally similar to, discussion forums on the World Wide Web. Newsreader software is used to read the content of newsgroups.
Before the adoption of the World Wide Web, Usenet newsgroups were among the most popular Internet services, and have retained their noncommercial nature in contrast to the increasingly ad-laden web. In recent years, this form of open discussion on the Internet has lost considerable ground to individually-operated browser-accessible forums and big media social networks such as Facebook and Twitter.A fellow in Scotland, IIRC, set it up on Usenet, where it still remains. One of the members of that ancient group was a chap named James Kalb. Which brings me to the point of this post.
Mr Kalb has gone on to do a great good for the counter revolution and returning society to sanity. His biography from Crisis:
James Kalb is a lawyer, independent scholar, and Catholic convert who lives in Brooklyn, New York. He is the author of The Tyranny of Liberalism: Understanding and Overcoming Administered Freedom, Inquisitorial Tolerance, and Equality by Command (ISI Books, 2008), and, most recently, Against Inclusiveness: How the Diversity Regime is Flattening America and the West and What to Do About It (Angelico Press, 2013).
Since we have exhausted the (English language) articles at The ChesterBelloc Mandate. I think for the next few weeks I'll share articles by Mr Kalb, from various sources.

Comments are subject to deletion if they are not germane. I have no problem with a bit of colourful language, but blasphemy or depraved profanity will not be allowed. Attacks on the Catholic Faith will not be tolerated. Comments will be deleted that are republican (Yanks! Note the lower case 'r'!), attacks on the legitimacy of Pope Francis as the Vicar of Christ (I know he's a material heretic and a Protector of Perverts, and I definitely want him gone yesterday! However, he is Pope, and I pray for him every day.), the legitimacy of the House of Windsor or of the claims of the Elder Line of the House of France, or attacks on the legitimacy of any of the currently ruling Houses of Europe.
