Off the Menu: Episode 19 - Malta, Eden & Dinosaurs, Social Classes

Originally uploaded on 19 February 2017.

First the Chevalier discusses Francis and his lickspittle toadies trying to destroy the Order of Malta. He makes the point that Francis had no power whatsoever to 'investigate' a sovereign nation, nor did he have the power to appoint a 'temporary' head of the Order. He also points out that, having violated the sovereignty of the Order of Malta a sovereign nation by treaty, Francis (or a successor) may well regret it if Italy decides to violate the sovereignty of the Vatican, a sovereign nation by treaty.

The discussion of creationism vs evolution is a well balanced one. He justly attacks the scientism of the modern 'scientific' community.

'Monarchy vs Republic'? How do you think he answers it?! I would point out to him that one President should be canonised, that being Gabriel Garcia Moreno, Regenerator of Ecuador, martyred by the Freemasons for consecrating Ecuador to the Sacred Heart of Christ the King.

I seldom catch the Chevalier out in an error, but I think I have here! He says St Pius X discusses class distinctions and suggests Googling 'Pius X class distinctions'. Don't! I did. You'll find pages and pages of information on schools named for St Pius, but nothing on class distinctions. I even tried 'social distinctions'. Same results.

Further, St Pius may have discussed them, but Pope Leo XII defitely did in Rerum Novarum, to wit,
Section 17 of Rerum Novarum, 'There naturally exist among mankind manifold differences of the most important kind; people differ in capacity, skill, health, strength; and unequal fortune is a necessary result of unequal condition. Such inequality is far from being disadvantageous either to individuals or to the community. Social and public life can only be maintained by means of various kinds of capacity for business and the playing of many parts; and each man, as a rule, chooses the part which suits his own peculiar domestic condition.'
Whilst the question on Divine and Secular Order is framed in a ridiculous fashion, the Chevalier agrees that rejection of the Divine Order inevitably leads to rejection of right order in the secular realm, with which opinion I completely agree.

On the last question I have no comment, since I have not studied the question.
