New Bishop Of Venice (1953)
Unfortunately silent, but a newsreel of Cardinal Angelo Roncalli (later John XXIII) as he processes to San Marco to be enthroned as Patriarch of Venice. Politicians, generals and military honour guards from the Army, the Navy, and the Carabinieri, as well as the populace, line the streets and canals. Can you imagine that in today's pagan Europe?
