Did Archbishop Coakley just say the quiet part out loud? That synodality isn’t understood by the laity and that we already have effective diocesan tools at our disposal. Additionally, cardinals have spoken off the record to AdVaticanum about their frustration with the synodal process. Is this the beginning of the end for synodality?
