70 Lourdes Cures Atheist Doctors Still Cannot Explain

From Totus Catholica

Over 7,000 people have claimed miraculous healing at Lourdes, France. The Catholic Church rejected almost all of them. Only 70 survived the most brutal medical investigation in history. The Lourdes Medical Bureau, founded in 1883, applies the Lambertini criteria: grave disease, sudden complete lasting cure, no natural explanation. Atheist doctors keep coming back. The Church has a 99% rejection rate. The Hebrew word mikvah means both ritual purification water and hope. Jeremiah 17:13 calls God the mikvah of Israel. At Lourdes, the water has no medicinal properties. The healing is not in the water. It is in the God who works through the water. From the pool of Bethesda to the baths of Lourdes, the pattern holds. Comments are subject to deletion if they are not germane. I have no problem with a bit of colourful language, but blasphemy or depraved profanity will not be allowed. Attacks on the Catholic Faith will not be tolerated. Comments will be deleted that are republican (Yanks! Note the lower case 'r'!), attacks on the legitimacy of Pope Leo XIV as the Vicar of Christ, the legitimacy of the House of Windsor or of the claims of the Elder Line of the House of France, or attacks on the legitimacy of any of the currently ruling Houses of Europe.
