Mr Buck goes into detail regarding his conversion from 'New Age' neo-paganism to Catholicism.
Roger Buck, a convert from the New Age movement to Catholic Christianity, tells his conversion story in this unusually personal video. For after living at Findhorn - probably the most famous New Age community in the world - and then working as a New Age activist in Cambridge, England, something happened to him one night in September 1997 … after which nothing was ever the same again.
Buck also discusses here other topics related to his story, including the work of the Catholic convert Valentin Tomberg and the role of Eastern influences in the New Age via Eckhart Tolle, as well as the esoteric Theosophy of Helena P. Blavatsky and Alice Bailey. And he describes how the Living Waters of the Catholic Sacraments opened out a world to him - beyond Tolle’s exhortation to “The Power of Now” - a world never glimpsed in his twenty years of exploring the “holistic” New Age movement and Eastern esotericism.
Roger Buck is not only a convert but the author of three books which address the subjects of Christian conversion, the New Age movement and Catholicism. An American by birth, he now lives in the northwest of Ireland, searching for ways to preserve Irish Catholic culture.

Comments are subject to deletion if they are not germane. I have no problem with a bit of colourful language, but blasphemy or depraved profanity will not be allowed. Attacks on the Catholic Faith will not be tolerated. Comments will be deleted that are republican (Yanks! Note the lower case 'r'!), attacks on the legitimacy of Pope Francis as the Vicar of Christ (I know he's a material heretic and a Protector of Perverts, and I definitely want him gone yesterday! However, he is Pope, and I pray for him every day.), the legitimacy of the House of Windsor or of the claims of the Elder Line of the House of France, or attacks on the legitimacy of any of the currently ruling Houses of Europe.
